Welcome to Cooking by Esha!
You know that feeling when you’re hungry, tired, and just want something good to eat without spending two hours in the kitchen? That’s exactly why I started this blog.
Hi, I’m Esha. I cook every single day, not because I’m some fancy chef, but because I need to eat and I’d rather make something myself than order takeout for the third time this week.
This isn’t one of those blogs where everything looks like it came out of a magazine shoot. My kitchen gets messy. Sometimes I burn the garlic. And honestly? Most of my best recipes happened by accident when I was trying to use up whatever was sitting in my fridge.
If you’re looking for complicated techniques or ingredients you can’t pronounce, you’re probably in the wrong place. But if you want recipes that actually taste good and don’t require a culinary degree, stick around.

What You’ll Find Here?
This is a food and drink blog. Pretty straightforward, right?
I share recipes I actually make stuff I cook for myself, for family dinners, when friends come over, or when I just need something comforting after a long day.
Everyday food recipes are the backbone here. These are meals you can make on a Tuesday night without losing your mind. Pastas, Chicken dishes, simple curries, baking & breads, soups. Things that fill you up and don’t require you to buy ten new spices.
Sometimes they’re traditional. Sometimes I throw in my own twist because I didn’t have the “right” ingredient and had to improvise. You’ll get both, and I’ll always tell you which is which.
Quick meals get their own spot because some days, that’s all you have time for. These are my lifesavers, the recipes I turn to when I’m exhausted but still want real food. Nothing here takes longer than 30 minutes, and most are even faster.

Recipes People Keep Making
Some recipes just hit different, you know?
There are a few here that people make over and over. They’ll comment or message saying they’ve added it to their regular rotation, or their kids actually ate vegetables for once, or it saved them on a crazy weeknight.
Those are my favorites to hear about.
You’ll see some of these features throughout the site. Not because I’m trying to push them on you, but because they’ve proven themselves. Real people in real kitchens have made them work.
They’re usually the ones that are simple but surprisingly good. The kind where you’re a little skeptical it’ll turn out right with so few ingredients, and then you taste it and get it.

The People Who Hang Out Here!
I love that this blog has started to build a little community. Some of you find recipes through Pinterest when you’re planning meals or looking for something specific. Others stumble here through Google when you’re desperately searching “easy dinner ideas” at 5 PM. Some of you come back every week to see what’s new.
Whoever you are, I’m glad you’re here. A lot of readers save recipes to try later, which I totally get. I do the same thing. My Pinterest boards are basically a diary of things I meant to cook but haven’t gotten to yet.
If you’re someone who likes to plan or to collect ideas, you’ll find plenty to save here. And if you’re more of a “what can I make right now with what I have” person, the search function is your friend.
I also really love it, when people actually make the recipes and let me know how it went. Did you change something? Did it work out? Did your family like it? That stuff means a lot to me because it helps me understand what’s actually useful.
