Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • Olive oil spray
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Fresh chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges
  • Extra grated Parmesan
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat egg in a separate bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into egg, then coat evenly in Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly.
  5. Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil and arrange chicken in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the basket for best crispiness.
  • Press coating firmly onto chicken for thicker crust.
  • Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 4–5 minutes to maintain crunch.
