  • 5 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 6 slices bacon cooked & crumbled
  • ½ cup red onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds optional
  • Dressing:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Method
 

  1. Chop broccoli into small florets and place in a large bowl.
  2. Add red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk mayo, vinegar, and sugar.
  4. Pour dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss well.
  5. Add crumbled bacon and mix gently.
  6. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Add cheddar for extra creaminess.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
