Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak sliced thin
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook rice and set aside.
  2. Sear beef in hot oil until browned; remove.
  3. Sauté onion, garlic, and peppers until tender-crisp.
  4. Add sauce ingredients and simmer until thickened.
  5. Return beef to pan, toss to coat, and serve over rice.

Notes

  • Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
  • Adjust sweetness or salt to taste.
  • Add chili flakes for heat if desired.
