Ingredients
  

For the Dish
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 clove garlic halved
  • 8 oz Gruyère cheese grated
  • 8 oz Emmental cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
Optional Add-Ins / Toppings
  • Fresh thyme
  • Cooked sausage slices

Method
 

  1. Warm wine gently.
  2. Toss cheese with cornstarch.
  3. Add cheese gradually while stirring.
  4. Season and stir until smooth.
  5. Serve warm with dippers.
