  • 8 oz high-quality semi-sweet chocolate finely chopped
  • 4 oz dark chocolate 60–70%, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Warm heavy cream until steaming.
  2. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate.
  3. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  4. Mix in butter, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Transfer to serving pot and keep warm.

Notes

  • Avoid boiling cream.
  • Stir gently to maintain smooth texture.
  • Add extra warm cream if mixture thickens.
