Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch dish.
  2. Whisk sugar and melted butter until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently to keep the custard smooth.
  4. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, salt, and flour until fully combined.
  5. Pour filling into crust and bake until edges are set and center slightly jiggles.
  6. Cool completely before slicing to allow the custard to set properly.
