Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 10 small tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and shredded chicken until smooth.
  2. Add shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then mix well.
  3. Warm tortillas and spoon filling evenly onto each one.
  4. Roll tightly and place seam-side down on a baking tray.
  5. Brush lightly with oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 18 minutes until golden and crispy

Notes

  • Bake or air-fry for a lighter option.
  • Freeze uncooked taquitos for up to two months.
  • Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
