Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Heat butter and oil in pot.
  2. Cook vegetables until soft.
  3. Stir in flour and cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Whisk in broth, milk, and cream.
  5. Add chicken and seasonings. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Garnish and serve warm.
