Creamy Oreo Frosting Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 –12 Oreo cookies crushed
  • Pinch of salt optional

Method
 

  1. Beat butter until creamy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  3. Mix in cream and vanilla, beat 2–3 minutes.
  4. Fold in crushed Oreos gently.
  5. Adjust consistency with cream if needed.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature butter for best results.
  • Can double recipe for a 9-inch cake or 24 cupcakes.
  • Add creative variations like white chocolate or flavored extracts.
