Method
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve pasta water.
- Cook shrimp in butter until pink; remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic in the same pan until fragrant.
- Add cream and seasoning; simmer gently.
- Toss pasta with sauce, adding pasta water as needed.
- Add shrimp back and mix until well combined.
Notes
- Do not overcook the shrimp
- Add vegetables for variation
- Use pasta water for a silky sauce
