Feta Pasta Bake Recipe Card

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 block feta cheese 7–8 oz
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Optional: cooked bacon fresh basil, chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place tomatoes and garlic in baking dish, season and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Add feta block to center and bake until soft.
  4. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve some pasta water.
  5. Mash feta and tomatoes into sauce.
  6. Add pasta and toss, loosening with pasta water as needed.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use block feta, not crumbles.
  • Add bacon or vegetables for variation.
  • Best served fresh.
