Fried Cabbage with Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon Recipe Card

Ingredients
  

  • ½ head green cabbage chopped
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil if needed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy; remove and set aside.
  2. Brown sausage in the same skillet; remove and set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp briefly until pink; remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté onion and garlic, then add cabbage and seasoning.
  5. Cook cabbage until tender.
  6. Return bacon, sausage, and shrimp; toss and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use smoked sausage for best flavor
  • Do not overcook shrimp
  • Add Cajun seasoning for extra heat
