Green Bean Casserole Recipes

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • cups crispy fried onions
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease baking dish.
  2. Blanch green beans and drain.
  3. Mix soup, milk, soy sauce, and seasoning.
  4. Combine green beans with the mixture.
  5. Transfer to baking dish and add half onions.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Add remaining onions and bake 5–10 minutes more.
  8. Cool slightly and serve.

  • Store in fridge for up to 4 days
  • Add topping fresh when reheating
  • Use fresh beans for best texture
