Hasselback Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe

Pull-apart hasselback cheesy garlic bread filled with garlic butter and melted cheese in every slice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 unsliced loaf Italian or sourdough bread
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: parsley or Italian herbs

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice bread crosswise without cutting through.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, and salt.
  4. Brush garlic butter between slices.
  5. Stuff cheese evenly into cuts.
  6. Wrap loosely in foil and bake 20 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake 10 minutes until golden.
  8. Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overbake uncovered
  • Adjust cheese blend to taste
