One Pan Bold Honey BBQ Chicken Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Sear diced chicken in olive oil.
  2. Add garlic and seasoning; cook briefly.
  3. Stir in BBQ sauce and honey.
  4. Add rice and broth; mix well.
  5. Cover and simmer 18–20 minutes until rice is tender.

Notes

  • Keep skillet covered while simmering.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Best served warm and freshly fluffed.
