Ingredients
  

  • Cake
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • Frosting
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • cups powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease baking pan.
  2. Cream butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients separately.
  5. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
  7. Beat frosting ingredients until smooth.
  8. Frost cooled cake and serve.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for best texture
  • Cool completely before frosting
