Shrimp Cocktail with Homemade Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 –2 tbsp horseradish
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Boil shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink.
  2. Transfer to ice bath immediately.
  3. Mix sauce ingredients in bowl.
  4. Chill sauce for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve chilled shrimp with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp.
  • Adjust horseradish to taste.
  • Store sauce up to 3 days.
