Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup cream or pasta water
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook linguine until al dente.
  2. Season and sauté shrimp briefly; remove.
  3. Cook garlic in butter and oil.
  4. Add cream or pasta water.
  5. Toss pasta and shrimp, finish with lemon and cheese.

Notes

  • Use pasta water to adjust sauce
  • Don’t overcook shrimp
  • Serve immediately
