Ingredients
  

  • Pretzel Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup baking soda for boiling
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Filling
  • cups chopped smoked brisket
  • 1 teaspoon brisket seasoning
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • Beer Cheese Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup beer
  • cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare and rise pretzel dough.
  2. Mix brisket with seasoning and cream cheese.
  3. Fill dough pieces and seal into balls.
  4. Boil briefly in baking soda water.
  5. Bake until golden.
  6. Prepare beer cheese sauce and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the dough.
  • Mild beer works best for smooth cheese sauce.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
