Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 ½ cups queso cheese sauce

Method
 

  1. Season sliced steak with garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak for 3–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  4. Warm cooked rice and queso sauce separately.
  5. Assemble bowls with rice, steak, and generous queso drizzle. Add toppings as desired.

Notes

  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while cooking steak.
  • Adjust spice level with chili powder or cayenne.
