Ingredients
  

  • 3 large green plantains
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice green plantains into thick rounds.
  2. Fry slices at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Flatten each slice evenly.
  4. Fry again until crisp and golden.
  5. Mix dipping sauces and serve immediately.
