Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz spinach
  • 1 cup bread cubes
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup ground walnuts
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt pepper, nutmeg

Method
 

  1. Soak bread cubes in milk.
  2. Sauté onion and spinach; chop finely.
  3. Mix all ingredients into soft dough.
  4. Shape into dumplings.
  5. Simmer gently until cooked.
